Soil Support

Copy a soil support or a series of soil supports of the same structural member

To copy a soils support or a series of soils supports

1. Click Copy/Spring Stiffness.
2. Click the soil support or hold down the SHIFT key and drag a selection box with the mouse over the wished soil supports which you want to copy.

   Note: In case of a multiple selection the first soil support in the direction of the positive axis is the reference point of the series of soil supports for the further copy process.

3. Click the reference point to which you want to copy the soil support(s).

   Note: In case of a multiple selection the selected reference point is the start point for the series of soil supports to be copied in the direction of the positive axis.

4. Click the cross section of the structural unit, which should be connected with the soil support(s).
5. Optionally, edit the name and the description of the soil support(s) in the opening window.

   Note: In case of a multiple selection you can define a numerical postfix for the naming. Thereby, the first soil support receives this number and all further ones are incremented by 1. Thus the name is composed of: Name [blank] postfix. At this, already existing same names are checked and skipped, if applicable. If the input is missing or invalid, the postfix is taken as 1.

6. Confirm the input with OK.

   The soil support(s) is/are now copied according to the definitions.

7. Copy the same soil support(s) to further positions (back to 3.), or quit the tool with ESC.
