Insert stations

Interactively insert stations in an existing structural member

To insert stations in a structural member

1. Click Insert stations.
2. Click the structural member of the 3D model in the view window, in which you want to insert stations.
3. Optionally: Click the cross section in the menu Cross Sections in the navigation tree, which you want to assign at the station to be inserted.

   Note: The program automatically identifies the existing cross section in the area of the selected position. (Within this automatic detection the cross section to be inserted is not graphically displayed).

4. Move the mouse in the view window to determine the desired position of the station to be inserted on the axis of the structural member, and confirm it with a mouse click.
5. Optionally, adapt the selected station in the opening input window.
6. Directly insert further stations in the same structural member (back to 4. or 3. respectively) or quit the tool with ESC.

Note: If variables with assigned tables are defined before/after the inserted cross section, then the assignment of the tables is automatically taken over for the inserted cross section.
