Calculate a load case with reference to an already defined load case in the construction phases by considering a factor
The load case definitions of the referenced load case are used for calculating the new load case by considering the factor. The load is applied onto the elements defined by the assemblies in the referenced load case.
If the option “SDL” is set in the referenced load case, then also the newly calculated load case is considered regarding its summation to the respective summation load case.
This calculation task can be used to simulate moving loads during construction (e.g. form travelers). Thus, the load case (e.g. self-weight of the traveler) doesn’t need to be defined again in the negative direction, but can be defined by referencing the existing load case (using a factor of -1).
Arguments
lc
Name of the load case to be calculated
phase
Name of the construction phase in which the referenced load case is defined
lcref
Name of the load case (without postfix) whose load case definitions are referenced
factor
Factor by which the load magnitude of the referenced load case is multiplied
