Create an additional load train position

The load train position defines the position of the load train within a defined lane (as a resulting load position of the entire load train) and thus the positions for the calculation of the influence lines.

Per default the load train position is automatically created in the center of the lane. You can change this position by using the edit tools of the context menu (click the load train position). Further, you can add additional load train positions to the same lane.

To define a load train position in a lane

1. Click Create train position.
2. Select the lane in which you want to define the load train position.
3. Move the mouse in the direction of the desired position of the load train position to be created and input the desired relative distance (relative value between the position measured from the lane begin and the lane width) in the appearing text box (value between 0 and 1). Alternatively, you can define the position directly with the mouse cursor. Confirm the input in both cases with the enter key or the left mouse button.
