3D-Diagrams

In the tab 3D-Diagrams you can graphically display the results of load cases, envelopes, checks and eigenmodes on the entire 3D model.

Select the result components in the action bar Results.

Select the result data in the bottom window in the respective tab (Load Cases, Envelopes, Design Checks, Eigenmodes).

Use the context menu to create new result views.

A result view consists of 3 submenus for the different display types

• Deformed Structure
• Colored Surface
• Diagrams

whereat in the menu Diagrams any number of diagrams can be created by using the context menu.

Use the respective check boxes to activate/deactivate particular result views and diagrams.

Use the property window to make various settings for displaying the colored surfaces and diagrams.

Further, you can display results only for certain parts of the structure defined by assemblies. These assemblies are defined per result view and are considered for the display types Diagrams and Colored Surface (but not for Deformed Structure). The assignment of the assemblies to the result views is performed in the same way as described for the 2D-Diagrams. Use the view options in the Properties window to show/hide the window with the defined assemblies. Amongst others, this functionality is also helpful when displaying results of composite structures to display the results only for a certain beam series (e.g., partial beams or composite beams) - however, note that the display style Colored Surface for composite beams defined by assemblies is excluded.

To define a diagram

1. Click the diagram to be defined in the top window Results.
2. Click the load case, envelope, design check result or eigenmode to be displayed in the bottom window Result Data (tab Load Cases, Envelopes, Design Checks or Eigenmodes).
3. Select the desired result components in the action bar Results in the respective task area of the selected result type.
