Mesh description

Tool(s): Select Mesh Type

Before you start to design the mesh in the workspace with any bar combination, you need to set the boundary parameters.

1. Enter settings for the following parameters in the dialog box:
   • Mesh name - defines the mesh label
   • Mesh length - defines the maximum length of the mesh
   • Mesh width - defines the maximum width of the mesh
2. After you have clicked OK to confirm the dialog box, the following functions are presented so you can define the bars in the mesh:
   
   
   
3. To finish defining the bars in the mesh, click Exit Mode.
4. If necessary, change the settings in the General Mesh Parameters dialog box.

Note: Custom meshes which have been defined as meshes with any bar combinations using the tools listed above cannot be output in table format as the relevant data is not available. These meshes can only be output graphically.
