Modifying reinforcing bars extruded along a sweep path

Modifying elements using the ‘Properties’ palette

By selecting the Sweep Bars Along Path entry in the list box of the Properties palette, you can modify the parameters of reinforcing bars you placed together along a sweep path.

To modify the parameters of reinforcing bars you extruded along a sweep path

1. Select a reinforcing bar of the placement or the whole placement. Then go to the Properties palette and select the Sweep Bars Along Path entry in the list box at the top.
   

   • To select a single element, click it.
   • To select elements in a selection rectangle, hold down the left mouse button and open a selection rectangle around the elements you want to select.
   • Some tools allow you to select all elements in the current document by clicking All in the input options or pressing CTRL+A.

   When selecting elements, you can use filters, which allow you to filter by element type or property. For more information, see Using filters.

   Note: You can only modify a single placement at any one time. When you have selected several placements, you cannot select anything in the list box at the top in the Properties palette.

2. Change the parameters of the extruded bar reinforcement.

   Allplan immediately applies the changes without prompting you to confirm.
   

Note: You can use Match parameters to match the parameters of a different placement. You can use Save as a favorite to save the settings. With Load favorite, you can read the settings back into the palette, where you can then modify them. Click Favorite QuickSelect to select from the five favorites you have used most recently.
