'Lattice girders' configuration entry

Configuration Concrete Slab: Design

Static load capacity:

The bottom booms of the lattice girders will be included in the calculations. Note that for fitted panels, a narrow girder spacing can lead to a higher as-value than for a standard panel. It can also result in a reduced level of reinforcement being used.

Place girder only up to panel width of …

[mm] Uses 1 lattice girder up to a panel of this width. For a wider panel, at least 2 girders must be used.

Define spacing between lattice girders

You can define how to space the girders. Unlike half floors, concrete slabs do not provide several spacing values for lattice girders in terms of the panel length or panel width.

Maximum girder spacing:

[Mm] The greatest possible girder spacing (standard spacing).

Minimum girder spacing:

[mm] The smallest possible girder spacing (for fitted panels).

Girder edge distance:

[mm] The distance from the slab edge to the girder.
