User-defined name that can be used for labels in element plans or lists.

'Sample' tab

You can use the following parameters to define the placement pattern.

Sample:

You can specify here whether the elements to be placed are created using the set offset, no offset or the set offset of 1/2 brick length, 1/3 brick length or 1/4 brick length. This offset is in the direction of the length.

Offset:

Value for offsetting the elements to be placed.
This box is enabled if you select the Offset option for the sample

Joint width / Joint depth:

Values for the continuous joint width and the joint depth.

Note: The Joint depth is defined for transfer to production data only. It does not apply to the geometry!

Consider grid dimensions:

You can configure the program to check whether the placement pattern complies with the specified Grid dimensions for the length and height. If this option is selected and the grid dimensions specified cannot be complied with due to the current element geometry, the program displays a warning. The program creates the tiles but marks the element as illegal.

To comply with the grid dimensions, make sure that the element's length and height are each equal to 2 times the specified edge offset plus n times the grid dimension for length, height minus the joint width.

The program does not check the grid dimensions and the element division.
