Adding a drawing file or fileset as a layout element

Tools: Modify Layout Window

To add a drawing file or fileset to a layout window

1. Click Modify Layout Window (How).
   

   Activate Modify Layout Window in one of the following ways

   • Actionbar:Task Layout Editor Task area Layout Editor

   • Menu bar: Change Layout

   • Palette: Tools Change area in the following module(s):

   Layout

2. Click Add layout elements.
3. Click a layout window.
4. Place the drawing file or fileset as described in Layout Element.

   Allplan automatically places the new layout window element so that all layout window elements are congruent.

5. Press ESC, if you do not want to add any further elements to the open workspace.
6. Click other layout windows to which you would like to add all previously inserted elements.
7. Press ESC once again to close the tool.
