Adding change notices to and removing change notices from layouts
Tools: Open on a Project-Specific Basis
You can assign change notices and release notes in the form of an index table to layouts. This information is displayed on the plan when you use
Label layout Border (How) to drop a that contains the corresponding fields. Layout legends created with the
Legend, Title Block tool (How) ignore entries of the subindex type.
To delete change notices, proceed as you would when creating them.
Tip: You can also define the index table in the Layout Attributes dialog box, which you can access from the
Allplan Exchange Layout Distribution or
Layout and Project Attributes tool.
To add change notices to a layout
- In the plan layout, click
Open on a project-specific basis (How)
or
start the ProjectPilot and open the folder with the plans. - Right-click the layout to which you want to add change notices and, on the shortcut menu, choose Properties.
- Select the Settings tab and open the Index table area.
- Select the index type in the New index line. Layout legends ignore subindexes.
The program displays the subentries of the index, proposing the index name automatically. Allplan inserts a new line - New index - for each additional layout index.
- Define the index entries.
- Confirm the Properties ... dialog box with OK and close the Open on a Project-Specific Basis dialog box: Layouts or the ProjectPilot.
To delete existing change notices
- In the plan layout, click
Open on a project-specific basis (How)
or
start the ProjectPilot and open the folder with the plans. - Right-click the layout whose change notices you want to delete and, on the shortcut menu, choose Properties.
- Select the Settings tab and open the Index table area.
- Click the index you want to delete.
- Click
Remove layout index at the end of the line.The program deletes the selected index without prompting you to confirm.
- Confirm the Properties ... dialog box with OK and close the Open on a Project-Specific Basis dialog box: Layouts or the ProjectPilot.
