Define grid settings

You can use this tool to define the origin of the grid and the spacing between grid points in the x-direction and y-direction. You can use grid points for precision drawing when the Grid point option is selected in the Point snap options.

To define the origin of the grid and the spacing between grid points

1. Click Define Grid Settings (How).
   

   Activate Grid Settings in one of the following ways

   • Actionbar:Task area Work Environment
   • Menu bar: View

   • Title bar: Quick Access Toolbar View
2. Define the origin of the grid in one of the following ways:
   • Click in the workspace.
   • Enter the x-coordinate and y-coordinate in the dialog line and select the Enter key to confirm.
3. Enter the spacing between the grid points in the x-direction and y-direction in the dialog line and select the Enter key to confirm.

Note: Use Grid on/off to show and hide the grid points on the screen.
