Importing XML files with options

You can save various ALLPLAN settings in XML files. This section shows you how to import XML files including basic settings for the Options. For other XML files, see the file description.

To import XML files for options

1. Download the file.
2. Decompress the file and save it in any folder on your computer.

   Tip: It makes sense to use the same folder for data of the same format.

3. Start ALLPLAN 2026.
4. Click Options on the Quick Access Toolbar.
5. Click Import options favorites.
6. Click the Browse button.
7. In the Open dialog box, select the folder with the options favorite file.
8. Click the options favorite file.
9. Click Open.

   You can see the option pages saved to the favorite in the area on the left. These pages are highlighted in yellow.

10. Select the pages you want to load.
11. To load the required pages, click OK next to the name of the *.xml file (name of the favorite file imported).

    Allplan replaces all the options on the selected pages with the options saved to the favorite.
