Floor Level

Task area Urban Planning

You can use this tool to define any number of stories in a building.

To create stories within a building

1. Click Floor Level (How).
   

   Activate Floor Level in one of the following ways

   • Actionbar:Role Surroundings Task Urban Planning Task area Urban Planning

   • Menu bar: Create Terrain Urban Planning

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Urban Planning

2. Click the building.
3. Change the attributes of the story.
   

   Floor level attributes

   • Occupancy
   • Story name
   • Bottom level
   • Height
   • Factor
4. Click Apply to apply the settings to the maximum area.
   Or
   Click Polyl to define the area manually.
   Enter the x or y vector or use the tools in the dialog line or on the shortcut menu.
   

   The dialog line provides the following tools and options, helping you draw lines and polylines.
   

   Icon	Tool	Use
   	No icon pressed in	The line can be drawn at any angle. This is the default setting.
   	Enter at right angles	The line can be drawn only at right angles to the current system angle.
   	Enter using cursor snap	The line can be drawn only at specific angles.
   15.00	Cursor snap	Define the cursor snap angle here (only possible when is turned on).

5. To define more areas, repeat steps 2 through 4.
6. Press ESC to finish.
