Copy and Mirror Area

Task area As-completed Drawings

You can use this tool to mirror an area of a scanned image; the original is still available afterwards.

• The Copy and Mirror Area tool changes the file including the scanned image. Therefore, use Copy Image to make a backup copy first.

To mirror and copy an area of the scanned image currently linked with the drawing file

1. Click Copy and Mirror Area (How).
   

   Activate Copy and Mirror Area in one of the following ways

   • Actionbar:Role Draft Task Design Task area As-completed Drawings

   • Menu bar: Change Bonus Tools Scan

   • Palette: Tools Change area in the following module(s):

   Scan

2. Use the polyline entry tools to define the area you want to copy and mirror.
3. Define the mirror axis.
