Convert Image to Bitmap File

Task area As-completed Drawings

You can use this tool to convert an RLC scan to a monochrome bitmap file.

To convert an image to a bitmap file

1. Click Convert Image to Bitmap File (How).
   

   Activate Convert Image to Bitmap File in one of the following ways

   • Actionbar:Role Draft Task Design Task area As-completed Drawings

   • Menu bar: Create Bonus Tools Scan

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Scan

2. In the Convert Scanned Image File dialog box, select the scanned image to be converted and click Open.
3. In the Save File dialog box, enter the following:
   • Select the File Type.
   • Enter a File Name for the bitmap file.
   • Determine the path in which the bitmap file is to be saved.
   • Click Save.

     thus creating the file.
