Modify Bridge, Civil Engineering Component

Task area Engineering Structures

You can use this tool to modify bridge and civil engineering components you created with Bridge, Civil Engineering Component and placed in ALLPLAN.

To modify a bridge and civil engineering component

• You have not applied the Convert Elements tool to the component placed.

1. Click Modify Bridge, Civil Engineering Component (How).
   

   Activate Modify Bridge, Civil Engineering Component in one of the following ways

   • Actionbar:Role Engineering Task Engineering Structures Task area Engineering Structures

   • Menu bar: Change Bonus Tools Bridge and Civil Engineering

   • Palette: Tools Change area in the following module(s):

   Bridge and Civil Engineering

2. Click a bridge and civil engineering component you created with Bridge, Civil Engineering Component and placed in Allplan.

   The bridge and civil engineering modeler starts, importing the data of the component.
   The approach is the same as for creating components; however, you cannot select the tools for creating new routes. You can rename the existing route, but you cannot delete it.

3. Create more station points or modify and delete existing station points.
4. Create new cross-sections or modify and delete existing cross-sections. You can also use cross-sections calculated automatically by the program.
5. Modify the parameters for the automatic definition of the route profile.
6. Save the modified data of the component so that you can retrieve them later using Open...
   and/or
   Click Export Route to transfer the changes to Allplan.
   and/or
   export the modified route to an Excel file.

   Note: You cannot save routes or export them to Excel files when running a demo version!
