Move Page

Task area Layout Editor

You can use this tool to move the page over the layout. The page is displayed as a white area with a shaded border. This way, you can also print different parts of the layout on a small output device.

To move the page

1. Click Move Page (How).
   

   Activate Move Page in one of the following ways

   • Actionbar:Task Layout Editor Task area Layout Editor

   • Menu bar: Change Layout

   • Palette: Tools Change area in the following module(s):

   Layout

   The bottom left corner of the page is attached to the crosshairs.

2. Place the page as required.

   The printable area of the output device moves accordingly.
   

Note: Only the documents and elements that are within the printable area of the page and output device are included in the printout.
If you use Windows drivers, you can specify whether to display the border of the printable area. To do this, use the Show/Hide tool (How).

Activate Show/Hide in one of the following ways

• Menu bar: View

• Title bar: Quick Access Toolbar View

Windows drivers are printer drivers delivered with the Windows operating system or by the device manufacturer. In Allplan, either Windows drivers or Allplan vector drivers can be used for printing.

A printer driver is a program that translates graphical commands into control characters (for example, HPGL, PostScript) for a particular printer. You can use Windows drivers or Allplan vector drivers (in connection with output channels) as printer drivers in Allplan.
