Assigning linked layouts to structural level

You can assign linked layouts to a structural level as follows:

• You can use Assign linked layouts... on the shortcut menu of the structural level.
  Enter the layout numbers as follows:
  • You can select individual layouts by entering their numbers separated by commas or spaces, e.g. 10,12,19.
  • Enter a range separated by hyphens, e.g. 10-19.

    You can also combine these two methods, e.g. 10,12,14-19,21.

    Clicking Selection list opens the Assign linked layouts dialog box, where you can assign links as described above for layouts.

• You can use Create link on the layouts' shortcut menu.
  Select all layouts you want to link and click Create link on the shortcut menu. Move the links into a structural level.

  Links to layouts created in the All layouts folder are appended to the end of the layout structure and need to be moved into a structural level. Otherwise, they will be deleted when you close the Open on a project-specific basis: layouts dialog box.
  Links to layouts in additional structural levels are created in the corresponding structural level.

Note: Each layout can be assigned to one structural level. If selected layouts have already been assigned, you can assign them as links.
