You can use this to write vertical text.

To write vertical text

1. Click Vertical Text (How) and enter the starting point of the text.
   

   • Click the point.
   • Align to points using the linear snap function and click the point.
   • Define the point by making entries in the dialog line.

   Tip: The shortcut menu and dialog line provide tools and options to assist you in the process of entering points. For more information, see Tools and Options.

   

   Activate Vertical Text in one of the following ways

   • Actionbar:Role Draft Task Label Task area Text

   • Menu bar: Create Text

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Text

2. Enter text in the Text dialog box and format it.
3. Click OK or press CTRL+ENTER.

   The text is placed in the workspace.
