Modify axis grid

You can use this tool to modify a planar axis grid. The tool automatically detects whether the grid is an orthogonal one or a polar one, displaying the appropriate dialog box.

You cannot use this tool to modify a custom Axis Grid.

To modify an axis grid

• You have added the Modify Axis Grid tool to a toolbar by means of the Customize dialog box. You can find this tool in the More tools with icons category.

1. Click Modify Axis Grid and then the axis grid that you want to modify.
   Or
   Right-click the axis grid that you want to modify and select Modify Axis Grid or Properties on the shortcut menu.
2. Define the parameters for the orthogonal axis grid or the polar axis grid.
3. Click OK to confirm the entries you have made.

Note: The grid can only be addressed as a single element - for modifications, for example. The individual elements in the grid can be altered only by means of this tool. To change the labels, you can also use the tools in the Text task area. Note, however, that these changes will be lost whenever you apply the Modify Axis Grid tool.
