Convert Section to View

Task area Reinforcement Views

You can use this tool to convert a section to a view.

To convert a section to a view

1. Click Convert Section to View (How).
   

   Activate Convert Section to View in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: Create Views, Sections, Details Reinforcement Views

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Reinforcement Views

2. Click the section you want to convert back to a view.

   All the components in the section are displayed with their full extents.

3. Enter a label for the view created and confirm your entry. The program proposes the label of the previous view.
   After you have entered text, you can make general text parameters for the label and place it in the workspace.
   

Note: The hidden line and wireframe view remain unchanged. You can use the Modify View and Section Properties tool to change them.
