Modify nailer

Task area Formwork

You can use this function to modify the nailers created using Place Nailer retroactively.

To modify a nailer

1. Click Modify nailer (How).
   

   Activate Modify nailer in one of the following ways

   • Actionbar:Role Precast Elements Task Formwork Task area Formwork

   • Menu bar: Change Precast Mould construction

   • Palette: Tools Change area in the following modules:

   Formwork

2. You can use Which nailers are to be modified? to define which nailer(s) are to be modified. The selected nailer(s) are highlighted in the selection preview color.
   
   Once you have selected the first nailer, the brackets are automatically opened and you can then highlight other nailers or confirm the brackets by right-clicking it or pressing the appropriate function key (<confirm> setting).
3. The length of the nailer(s) to be created on the selected concrete edges is/are highlighted with different symbols. A green circle highlights the start, while a red circle highlights the end of the individual nailers.
4. Go to to define the parameters for modifying nailers. You can open these parameters again at any time, as well as make any changes where required.
5. Click <confirm> setting to confirm your parameters.
6. The board(s) is/are cut again by the amended nailer. The nailer will always only impact the shorter shuttering board on a joint. The overlapping shuttering board or concrete element will not be changed by the nailers.
7. Define the next nailer(s) to be modified or select Esc to close the function.
