Urban Planning Reports

Task area Urban Planning

You can use this tool to create reports for areas and codes from the Urban Planning task area. These reports can be sent to the printer and imported as PDF files to the document.

Reports are used for analyzing data in ALLPLAN. They are saved as templates in RDLC format.

Reports can be printed, placed as PDF files in documents and exported to Excel and other formats.
You can change the layout of reports and save the result as a new template.

Available reports, overview

To create urban planning reports

1. Click Urban Planning Reports (How).
   

   Activate Urban Planning Reports in one of the following ways

   • Actionbar:Role Surroundings Task Urban Planning Task area Urban Planning

   • Menu bar: Create Terrain Urban Planning

   • Palette: Tools Create area in the following module(s):

   Urban Planning

2. The Reports dialog box opens. Select the folder and report and then click Open.
3. Select the elements you want to include.
   

   • To select a single element, click it.
   • To select elements in a selection rectangle, hold down the left mouse button and open a selection rectangle around the elements you want to select.
   • Some tools allow you to select all elements in the current document by clicking All in the input options or pressing CTRL+A.

   To get detailed information on all selection options provided by ALLPLAN, see Selecting elements, overview.

   When selecting elements, you can use filters, which allow you to filter by element type or property. For more information, see Using filters.

   Note: Click in the input options to find elements based on advanced criteria - for example, to find elements with a specific material.
   This tool works just like the Find Elements tool.

4. Report Viewer opens, displaying the report. You can now edit the report as follows:
   • You can customize the report.
   • You can print the report.
   • You can place the report in the current document.
   • You can save the report as a file in Excel, PDF or Word format.
   • You can edit the report using Layout Designer.
     You can save changes as a new template in RDLC format.
5. Print or save the report.
