Move Bar Display

Task area Bar Reinforcement

You can use this tool to move reinforcement visually without this having an effect on the actual placement. This does not alter the location of the bars relative to the model.

To move the display of bars

1. Click Move Bar Display (How).
   

   Activate Move Bar Display in one of the following ways

   • Actionbar:Role Engineering Task Reinforcement Task area Bar reinforcement

   • Menu bar: Change Engineering Bar Reinforcement

   • Palette: Tools Change area in the following module(s):

   Bar Reinforcement

2. Select the bars you want to move.
   

   • To select a single element, click it.
   • To select elements in a selection rectangle, hold down the left mouse button and open a selection rectangle around the elements you want to select.
   • Some tools allow you to select all elements in the current document by clicking All in the input options or pressing CTRL+A.

   When selecting elements, you can use filters, which allow you to filter by element type or property. For more information, see Using filters.

3. Enter the From point and To point values.

Note: Any modifications you make to the placement have no effect on the bars moved.
