Working together on an Allplan Share project

Several users can work on the same Allplan Share project at the same time. This is just like working on an "ordinary" Allplan project. Drawing files, layouts, and filesets that have been opened by a user are locked and cannot be edited by any other user at the same time. However, locked drawing files can be opened in reference mode by other users.

To manage lock information manually, a function is available in the Services application that allows the ALLPLAN administrator to view the lock information for each project and delete it manually if necessary (see "Managing lock information for Allplan Share projects"). This ensures that documents do not remain unnecessarily locked just because an internet connection does not work properly.

Note: If you work with Workgroup Manager then, in the position of ALLPLAN administrator, it is possible to access the tool only from Allmenu.
