External path

The 'external data buffer' constitutes a buffer for data of different types.. For example, it facilitates the exchange of data between various program versions and the reading-in of external data. You can back up the data in the external path in a single operation by using the tools on the File menu in the Services application.

You can select the folder for the external path in ProjectPilot. The default setting is ...\Users\Windows_user_name\Documents\Nemetschek\Allplan\2026\Extern.
