Stair palette
This tab is only visible when the Create 2D representation check box is selected in the Representation area on the Settings tab.
Use this tab to select the elements you want to display in 2D. In addition, you can define how the stair outline looks.
Walking line
Display the walking line, which consists of the line you use to design the stair and the symbols representing the starting step and the last step. Select the Create option to define the parameters.
Create
Select the check box to display the stair element in plan view.
Symbol for starting step / Symbol for last step
Select the check box to display the stair element in plan view.
Shape
Select the shape of the symbol.
Diameter or Width / Height
Define the dimensions of the symbol.
Label
Display the stair label, which includes the number of rises and information about the rise and tread. Select the Create option to define the parameters.
Create
Select the check box to display the stair element in plan view.
Font
Select the font for the stair label.
Text height
Define the font size for the stair label.
Layer
You can set the layer for the stair element.
Color
You can set the line color for the stair element. Select the check box to take the line color from the layer set. Otherwise, you can choose any line color.
Pen
You can set the pen thickness for the stair element. Select the check box to take the pen thickness from the layer set. Otherwise, you can choose any pen thickness.
Line
You can set the line type for the stair element. Select the check box to take the line type from the layer set. Otherwise, you can choose any line type.
Step numbers
Configure the program to number the steps consecutively. Select the Create option to define the parameters.
Create
Select the check box to display the stair element in plan view.
Position
Define the position of the step numbers in relation to the walking direction.
Offset
Define the offset of the step numbers in relation to the Position.
Starting with
Define the number with which numbering is to start.
Font
Select the font for the step numbers.
Text height
Define the font size for the step numbers.
Layer
You can set the layer for the stair element.
Color
You can set the line color for the stair element. Select the check box to take the line color from the layer set. Otherwise, you can choose any line color.
Pen
You can set the pen thickness for the stair element. Select the check box to take the pen thickness from the layer set. Otherwise, you can choose any pen thickness.
Line
You can set the line type for the stair element. Select the check box to take the line type from the layer set. Otherwise, you can choose any line type.
Undercut
Display the tread undercut; this value is defined by the Offset at back on the Stair tread tab. Select the Create option to define the parameters.
Create
Select the check box to display the stair element in plan view.
Layer
You can set the layer for the stair element.
Color
You can set the line color for the stair element. Select the check box to take the line color from the layer set. Otherwise, you can choose any line color.
Pen
You can set the pen thickness for the stair element. Select the check box to take the pen thickness from the layer set. Otherwise, you can choose any pen thickness.
Line
You can set the line type for the stair element. Select the check box to take the line type from the layer set. Otherwise, you can choose any line type.
Clipping line
Display the section line of the stair; usually at a stair height of 1.00 m measured from TL FF. Select the Create option to define the parameters.
Create
Select the check box to display the stair element in plan view.
Offset
Define the distance between the parallel lines representing the section line.
Angle
Define the angle of the section line relative to the front edge of the step.
Format
Select the Separate check box to choose a Layer, Color, Pen, or Line you want to use to display the section lines. The settings you define here are independent of the settings for displaying the stair below and above the section line.
2D representation
Display of the stair in the floor plan, provided that creating the section line is deactivated in the previous section. However, the set format properties will be used only if the create option in the 2D representation section is disabled on the tab of the respective element. Otherwise, the format properties you make here apply.
Layer
You can set the layer for the stair element.
Color
You can set the line color for the stair element. Select the check box to take the line color from the layer set. Otherwise, you can choose any line color.
Pen
You can set the pen thickness for the stair element. Select the check box to take the pen thickness from the layer set. Otherwise, you can choose any pen thickness.
Line
You can set the line type for the stair element. Select the check box to take the line type from the layer set. Otherwise, you can choose any line type.
Representation at bottom / Representation at top
Display of the stair below or above the section line, provided that create section line is not selected in the previous section. Select the Create option to define the parameters.
Create
Select the check box to display the stair element in plan view.
Format
If the elements check box is selected, the format properties defined on the tab of the respective element in the 2D representation section will be used for the representation of the stairs below or above the section line. Otherwise, Layer, Color, Pen and Line can be selected for displaying the stair below or above the section line. These format properties are used even if the elements check box is selected, but the create option in the 2D representation section is disabled on all tabs of the respective elements.

You can set the line color for the stair element. Select the check box to take the line color from the layer set. Otherwise, you can choose any line color.
Pen
