Catalogs for precast concrete elements
From version ALLPLAN 2024 onwards it will not be possible to add any more entries to the steel grade catalog! Instead, the steel grades are always to be set up or modified via
Default Settings --> Definitions in the Cross-section catalogs in engineering then, together with the Synchronize icon, be compared with those in the steel grade catalog.
When synchronizing the steel grade catalog all bar cross-section catalogs from engineering are imported with a cross-section catalog code greater than 0 as well as all mesh cross-section catalogs with the mesh type stock mesh, list mesh and drawing mesh here. All entries that are read in can then be recognized in the steel grade catalog via the label featuring [ ] and the locked input fields for the values that have been read in.
In the case of the old, existing and manually created entries in a version before ALLPLAN 2024, all cross-section catalog codes (2nd input field for Label for the bar cross-section catalog) of default cross-section catalogs as cross-section catalog codes. All Steel grades of the Mesh cross-section catalogs should be available as entries of the same Name. Watch out for lowercase and uppercase letters!
If there is already an entry in the steel grade catalogbefore synchronization in which the label, the value fyk (with the bar cross-section catalog) and the cross-section catalog code (with the bar cross-section catalog) matches an entry from the cross-section catalog that is already there, then this entry is supplemented with the content of the label field and designated as a steel grade via [ ] .
"General" tab
Created on:
Date of creation of data record.
Last modification:
Most recent modification date.
Name:
User-defined name for the steel grade in old, existing entries.
This input field can no longer be changed from version ALLPLAN 2024 onwards. In this case the value for the 1st input field for the steel grade of the bar cross-section catalog or the input field for the steel grade of the mesh cross-section catalog is entered.
Description:
User-defined description of the steel grade in old, existing entries.
This input field can no longer be changed from version ALLPLAN 2024 onwards. In this case the value for the 1st input field for the label of the bar cross-section catalog or the input field for the label of the mesh cross-section catalog is transferred.
fyk: [N/mm2]
Value for yield strength, which is required for redesign. This value must be entered for old, existing steel grades and for transferred steel grades for meshes.
This input field is locked regarding transferred steel grades for bars. In this case the value for the input field for the yield strength of the bar cross-section catalog is entered here.
In addition, the program uses this value for calculating shear force and bond in compliance with DIN EN 1992-1-1:2011-01.
ftk: [N/mm2]
Value for tensile strength, which is required for redesign. You must enter this value.
E-modulus: [N/mm2]
This is included in reports and lists.
Cross-section catalog code:
Reference to a bar cross-section catalog defined in ALLPLAN (
Default Settings --> Definitions). The Cross-section catalog code must, in the case of old, existing steel grades for the bar, match the value in the box to the right of the Name in the cross-section catalog!
When creating the basic reinforcement then, in the case of old existing steel grades for the bar, the program checks whether the bar cross-section catalog includes a definition of the current diameter as listed in the diameter catalog and the steel grade as listed in the steel grade catalog. If this is not so, the program displays an error message.
In the case of the steel grades for the bar that are transferred from version ALLPLAN 2024 onward, this field can no longer be defined. In this case the value for the 2nd input field for the label of the bar cross-section catalog is displayed here.
Note: Make sure the Cross-section catalog codes are unique when you use different steel grades. Otherwise, the program cannot assign the steel grades (for example, when creating the printout for the element plan).
"->Standard" tab
Assignment of entries to standards.
The selected entry applies only to the selected standards. If no field is selected, the entry applies to all fields.
