2D axis grid
You can use this tool to create mutually perpendicular axis lines spaced at a value you specify. The x-axis and y-axis can have different labels. An axis grid can also be subdivided into regions, each of which has different display settings - for example, color, line type, and spacing between axis lines.
To create an orthogonal axis grid
- You have added the
2D Axis Grid tool to a toolbar. You can find this tool in the More tools with icons category.
- Click
2D Axis Grid. - Define the parameters in the dialog box.
- Use the input options to specify whether you want to create the axes as 2D lines or 3D lines. Define the drop-in point of the axis grid.
The drop-in point is at the upper left. - Enter the angle of the grid in one of the following ways:
- Enter the angle in the dialog line.
- Define two points.
- Click an existing line.
