2D axis grid

You can use this tool to create mutually perpendicular axis lines spaced at a value you specify. The x-axis and y-axis can have different labels. An axis grid can also be subdivided into regions, each of which has different display settings - for example, color, line type, and spacing between axis lines.

To create an orthogonal axis grid

• You have added the 2D Axis Grid tool to a toolbar. You can find this tool in the More tools with icons category.

1. Click 2D Axis Grid.
2. Define the parameters in the dialog box.
3. Use the input options to specify whether you want to create the axes as 2D lines or 3D lines. Define the drop-in point of the axis grid.
   The drop-in point is at the upper left.
4. Enter the angle of the grid in one of the following ways:
   • Enter the angle in the dialog line.
   • Define two points.
   • Click an existing line.
