Article catalog for precast elements

Catalogs for precast concrete elements

This catalog manages all the articles that have not yet been given article numbers in Allplan.
The List Generator uses this catalog to manage and define article numbers for ADS lists. These numbers are only analyzed when you have purchased a license for ADS lists.

You have the following options to find entries:

'Edit entry' tab

ArticleNo:

Any article number. If there is no article number or if you have entered an asterisk (*), the program will prompt for the number in a dialog box when generating lists.

Matchcode:

Code the list generator uses to find entries for articles. You can use asterisks (*) as placeholders for variable parts.

Name:

User-defined name for the article. If the matchcode includes an asterisk (*) for variable parts and the name also includes an asterisk (*), this placeholder is replaced by the remaining string defined by the search key.

For example: symbol fixture, name = electrical socket

- List generator is looking for "ETSE socket"
- Finds ETS* in the article catalog and
replaces * with the remaining string in the name.
- As a result, the name is electrical socket.

Unit / Price:

Article-specific entries. Articles priced at 0.00 are not included in invoices.

Created on:

Date the data record was created.

Last modified:

Date the data record was last changed.

Click to save the articles entered in a folder (e.g. ...\std\fact). You can edit them using Excel and save them again.
Click to import an article catalog from a folder (e.g. ..\std\fact). The program always comes with a CSV file including the current default articles. When new articles were added during an upgrade, you can import them from this file.
If you click Yes when you see the Keep existing entries prompt, the program will only import the articles of which the matchcodes are not included in the current catalog. If you click No, the program will replace the current catalog with the selected catalog.
