Parameters for extruded bar reinforcement

You can define general parameters and parameters for transverse reinforcement and longitudinal reinforcement.

General

Profile rotation

Define how the bending shapes of transverse reinforcement will be placed in relation to the path.

Eliminate break of path, maximum angle of joint

When you select this check box, Allplan breaks up the placement at bends of the path where the angle is greater than the value entered. This results in discrete placing regions, which all get the same settings.

Concrete cover

Same concrete cover

When you select this check box, Allplan applies the same concrete cover to the start and end of each placing region. In this case, you need to enter the concrete cover only once.

If this check box is not selected, you can define the concrete cover individually for the start and end. These values apply to all placing regions.

Note: You can also enter negative values for the concrete cover. This lengthens the placing region.

Reinforcement

Component factor

You can enter a factor for placements that appear just once but that occur several times. This factor applies only to reinforcement management and the schema.

Layer factor

You can enter the number of the congruent bar layers placed one upon the other.

Transverse reinforcement

Spacing

You can define the spacing of transverse reinforcement along the path. Select a value in the list box or enter any value.

Region ...

You can create two regions with different spacings each at the start and end of the placement. Define the length and spacing for each region. Allplan places the first or last bending shape of transverse reinforcement with the defined concrete cover and edge offset in the first or last region respectively. The first bending shape of the other region follows with the spacing specified for this region. The region with the smaller spacing might extend into the adjoining region.

Offsets to edge / start / end

Define the offset to the outer bars of the entire placement along the path. The following options are available:

Bar offset

You can enter a value for the offset between the bending shapes of transverse reinforcement. When you enter 0, Allplan creates congruent bending shapes. This makes it difficult to tell the bending shapes apart.

Longitudinal reinforcement

Group

You can use and to switch between the groups of longitudinal reinforcement. Allplan combines all bars with the same mark number to form a group. You can see the current group and the total number of groups.

After expanding the entry, you can define the following settings for each group.

Projection at start, projection at end

After selecting this check box, you can enter any value for the projection or have Allplan calculate this value.

Note: You can also enter negative values for the projection. This shortens the bars in the placing direction.

Delivery

You can choose to supply the building site with straight or bent longitudinal bars. If you select straight bars although the building site requires bent bars, the bars will be bent on site. Consider the reference values for prebending circular reinforcement.

Overlap length

You can enter any value for the overlap length or have Allplan calculate this value. If the bars of longitudinal reinforcement exceed the maximum bar length defined in the Options, Allplan creates placements of maximum length. If this results in different bar lengths for the group, Allplan creates a polygonal placement.

Bar, starting length

You can use and to switch between the bars of the current group. You can see the current bar and the total number of bars.
After expanding the entry, you can define the starting length for each bar, thus creating offset placements. If this results in different bar lengths for the group, Allplan creates a polygonal placement.
