Catalogs for precast concrete elements
"General" tab
Created on:
Date of creation of data record.
Last modification:
Most recent modification date.
Name:
User-defined name that is visible when creating the precast element in the Element type list box.
Description:
User-defined name that can be used for labels in element plans or lists (not implemented yet).
Basic type:
Here you define the basic type of the precast element. Select an entry from one of the three slab, wall and structural precast element types.
This selection defines the parameters in the dialog boxes to be displayed and the parameters for invoicing and the invoicing list to be used for the defined element. Depending on the Basic type set, the program processes the precast elements in the lists, sorting and listing them in accordance with their names in the element type catalog.
Note: Please note the basic type can only be selected when you re-create an entry. Any subsequent modification will result in the selected entry only being displayed in deactivated form.
Product code for ERP system and production:
User-defined name written to the production data file upon transfer. The entry must match the control computer of the manufacturer.
PLANBAR always proposes a product code of 08 = structural precast element.
Definition of element creation:
The Definition of element creation belonging to the respective element is opened here.
The configuration includes general defaults (configurations) for Design, Labeling, Additional attributes, Element plan and BIM Booster.
"Layers" tab
The structure of the precast element is defined on the Layers tab. PLANBAR proposes a single layer element with layer name = concrete layer and layer type = concrete layer.
You can use the buttons arranged underneath the table to edit the entries on this tab, to add or delete lines or to change the sequence of the lines (layers).
'Dimensions' tab
Using the Dimensions tab, you define which attributes you want to use for the dimensions of the defined precast element. Please note, however, that each attribute or local dimensions can be selected just once.
Start by defining the attributes for the Dimension in viewing direction, Dimension in span direction and Dimension transverse to span direction. To do this, you can use the Length, Width, Thickness and Height attributes.
In terms of the three dimensions, please enter the following: Slab = Thickness, Length and Width; Wall = Thickness, Height and Length; and Structural precast element = Thickness, Height and Width.
In addition, you must also define the Local dimensions of the element. To do this, you can use the X-dimension, Y-dimension and Z-dimension attributes.
In terms of the three dimensions, please enter the following: Slab = Dimension Z, Dimension X and Dimension Y; Wall = Dimension Z, Dimension Y and Dimension X; and Structural precast element = Dimension Y, Dimension Z and Dimension X.
"Display" tab
Use the Display tab to select various display parameters for each element type via Display Precast Element, Line of mark number/Label style and Text lines below mark no. here.
By selecting the Pen from layer, Line from layer and Color from layer check boxes, these display parameters set out in the assigned layers can be used.
Note: If you have already defined a specific display in the concrete grade catalog then this is displayed here.
