Attributes of architectural elements, overview

To compile an attribute

1. Click Attribute on the context toolbar.

   The Attribute Selection dialog box opens.

2. Do the following in the Attribute Selection dialog box:
   • Select an attribute group and an existing attribute.
   • Select an attribute group in the User area and click to define a new custom attribute.
   • Select an attribute group and an attribute in the User area and click to modify an existing custom attribute.
   • Select an attribute group and an attribute in the User area and click to delete an existing custom attribute.
3. Click OK to confirm the dialog boxes.

   The attribute placeholder is attached to the crosshairs.

4. You can define the attribute more precisely while the placeholder is still attached to the crosshairs.
   You can define the following on the context toolbar:
   • Define the text parameters.
   • For label style only:
     Use Adjust to specify whether the size and ratio of the attribute text is to adapt to the scale.
   • Define the Format.
   • Select the Unit.
   • For label style only:
     Enter a prefix for the attribute.
   • Select a Border.
   • Use S Special Index to specify whether the attribute is to be numbered.
   • For label style only:
     Click Info to display information about the type of attribute or modify this information.
5. Place the attribute.
6. To define more attributes, repeat steps 1 to 4.

Note: The attributes are sorted according to the different program areas. Only areas whose modules are located on your computer are suggested.
