Configuring Allplan updates for administrators

The Allplan administrator can prevent the users of the workgroup from downloading updates. In addition, the Allplan administrator can distribute updates to all the users.

To prevent normal users from downloading Allplan updates

1. In the title bar of Allplan, click Help and then Allplan Update (How).
   

   Activate Allplan Update in one of the following ways

   • Menu bar: ?

   • Title bar: Help

   The Allplan update settings dialog box opens.

2. To prevent normal users from downloading updates, select Do not allow workgroup users without admin privileges to look for updates (only for administrators).

   As a result, users can only install the updates that are distributed by the Allplan administrator.

3. Click OK.
