Lattice girder catalog for precast concrete elements

Catalogs for precast concrete elements

"General" tab

Created on:

Date of creation of data record.

Last modification:

Most recent modification date.

Name:

User-defined name for the girder.

Girder type (slab):

Standard girders/shear girders/girders with baseboard
This is only available if the Roof, Slab, or Balcony entry is selected on the ->Assignment tab.
The entries that are available on the Girder data tab depend on the selected girder type.

Girder type (wall):

Layer connection and secondary girders/Layer connection/Secondary girders
This is only available when the Wall entry is selected on the ->Assignment tab.
The entries that are available on the Girder data tab depend on the selected girder type.

Material number:

The external list generator can analyze material numbers as article numbers (for commercial interfaces).

Delivery time:

Delivery time in days. Some control systems require this for stock control.

Job lot:

Packaging unit size. Some control systems require this for stock control.

Manufacturer's data:

Full name of manufacturer. Some control systems require this for stock control.

"Girder data" tab

Bottom boom area:

Bar cross-sectional area of the bottom boom. Required for structural calculations of the lattice girder.

Weight:

Weight per meter for calculating the quantities.

Increment:

The program rounds off the shear girder lengths to this value. In addition, the program adjusts the representation in the plan to the increment of the girder.

Girder height, width:

Height or width of the lattice girder in [m]. In addition, the program adjusts the representation in the plan to these dimensions.

Alpha1, Alpha2:

Angle between diagonal and bottom boom. These values are used for calculating shear force and bond in compliance with DIN EN 1992-1-1:2011-01. Alpha2 can be entered for shear girders only. In the case of other girder types, Alpha1 is always equivalent to Alpha2.

Bottom boom / top boom - steel grade:

Bar diameter and steel grade of the bottom booms and of the top boom.
Required for structural calculations of the lattice girder for the longitudinal reinforcement (half floor and double wall). In addition, the diameter will be transferred to some control systems and used for correctly displaying 3D views on the CAD screen.

Diagonal - steel grade:

Bar diameter and steel grade of the diagonal.
Required for calculations of shear force and bond in compliance with DIN EN 1992-1-1:2011-01. In addition, the diameter will be transferred to some control systems and used for correctly displaying 3D views on the CAD screen.

Insertion mode:

Manual/automatic (option)
The girder gets a code defining whether it can be produced automatically by a robot.
This setting is included for creating production data in Unitechnik format or PXML format. Lattice girders with the Manual insertion mode will be marked as being not producible.

"Display" tab

Line representation

At this point you initially specify how it should be displayed in Allplan. The following options are available in the selection dialog box:

As defined in general settings: Uses pen = 1; line = 5; color = 13.

Custom definition: Uses the settings for the Pen, Line, and Color on this tab.

You can use the Pen, Line and Color options to define the settings used to display the lattice girders. In addition, the program uses this color in animation and in Bimplus.

Symbol

You can define a symbol for identifying the girder (for example, the inclination direction of the diagonal of a shear girder).
Enter the number of a point symbol in the Symbol no. box. The numbers are the same as those in the Point Symbol dialog box of the Point Symbol tool. Define the Size and Scale. For the latter, you can define how the symbol size changes with the scale. You can rotate the point symbol by entering a value that is not equal to 0 for Rotation. The Start, End, Start and end, and Middle settings define the Position of the symbol.

Note: Lattice girders you place manually always start at the point where you can see the temporary placing symbol during creation ("from point" for from - to option). Lattice girders placed automatically by the programs always start at the support.

"->Wall assignment" tab

This is only available when the Wall entry is selected on the ->Assignment tab.
Assignment of entries to the wall types created with Design (iWall). The selection dialog boxes for lattice girders and the automatic features for calculating the height of lattice girders consider this assignment.

The selected entry applies to the selected components only. If no component is selected, the entry applies to all components.

"->Assignment" tab

Assignment of entries to components.

The selected entry applies to the selected components only. If no component is selected, the entry applies to all components.

"->Fact." tab

Assignment of entries to factories.

The selected entry applies to the selected factories only. If no factory is selected, the entry applies to all factories.
