Tools: Design

To define divisions for wall elements

1. Click Divisions on the context toolbar. This enables the tools for defining divisions.
2. You can define division parameters, such as max. panel length, for all the design modes in Properties. The context toolbar provides all parameters that you need frequently. Select a division option, e.g. Maximum element length.
3. If necessary, specify the joint width, maximum element weight and the starting value for the mark number and select one or more walls.
   

   • To select a single element, click it.
   • To select elements in a selection rectangle, hold down the left mouse button and open a selection rectangle around the elements you want to select.
   • Some tools allow you to select all elements in the current document by clicking All in the input options or pressing CTRL+A.

   When selecting elements, you can use filters, which allow you to filter by element type or property. For more information, see Using filters.

4. If you have selected only one wall, you can set a point for division. You can select the formwork type of the joint produced by automatic division.

   Click the Name of Connection button to select the formwork type you require in the list box or use the Previous / Next Option arrow keys.

5. Right-click in the workspace or click OK to confirm your selection.

   The program designs the selected walls.
