Export Datasmith/Twinmotion

Task area Export / Visualize model with Twinmotion

This function is used to export Allplan data in Datasmith format (*.udatasmith). This data format can be instantly read by Twinmotion (or any other application based on Unreal Engine by Epic Games).

How to export Allplan data in Datasmith format

1. Open the project that you would like to export data in Datasmith format.
2. Select drawing files and layers that should be exported in the Datasmith file.

   Note: There are always visible elements in the Datasmith file in the Allplan project that has been currently loaded.

3. Click Export Datasmith/Twinmotion (How).
   

   Activate Export Datasmith/Twinmotion in one of the following ways

   • Actionbar:Role Draft Task Teamwork Task area Export

   • Menu bar: Export file
4. Enter the folders and file name for the export file.
5. Click Save.
