Model Shuttering Board

Other functions to edit the elements

The Model shuttering board dialog box includes the following parameters:

Path

Use this to specify whether the object entered stretches across an area that can be defined freely (Start and end point) or across the entire shuttering board.

When you select Shuttering board , the area can only be entered in a specific view of the 'Edit Element' tool (depending on the shuttering board) and the height of the shuttering board defines the spatial extension; when you select Start and end point, on the other hand, you can enter the area in any view of the 'Edit Element' tool and define the extension by clicking points in a reference view.

You can use Start and end point to model recesses or copes in your shuttering board, for example. You can use Shuttering board to create holes in your shuttering board quickly.

Interaction with shuttering board

You can specify whether the object entered is added to the precast element (Positive (merging) / lengthening) or whether it cuts out the precast element (Negative (cut out) / shortening).

Enter outline

You can use Polyline to define the outline using any polyline. However, in the case of Pre-defined outline, the Select Outline dialog box is opened in which you can select the Rectangle, Circle, Trapezoid or N-Corner outline and then configure the corresponding dimensions via parameters.

General display

When you select the According to general settings option, the program uses the settings in the Properties palette - Format area. Otherwise, the settings you make here apply.

Display in plan view

When the Create hatching/pattern/fill option is selected, the program uses these settings.

Note: If you want to see the color used for hatching and pattern on the screen, make sure the Color stands for pen option is not active in Show/Hide.
