Area calculation method:

You can choose from Not defined, Panel outline (polygon), Circumscribed rectangle (LxW) and Mean value of outline/rectangle to define the required area calculation method (calculation method) here.

Ignore recess area:

Specify the value for the ignore recess area here. Recesses and shortfalls with an area greater than the specified value are subtracted from the element area.

Note: If you are working with an ERP system, the Basis for invoicing, Area calculation method and Ignore recess area options do not originate from this system. They do not therefore need to be preset.
