Select RGB Color

Several tools...

You can select any color in the Select RGB Color dialog box. Colors are selected based on the Red, Green and Blue color spectrum. The current color is visible in the color panel.

Note: When you click Expand >> near the bottom of the Select RGB Color dialog box, you can define fills with gradients.

Color system

Select the color system.

Color file

Select a color palette (color file) in the selected color system. You can also delete color palettes or create new ones here.

Color name

Choose a color in the selected color palette. You can also use this option to delete colors from the palette.
If the current RGB setting matches a color entry in the selected palette, you can see the name of the entry here.

New entry

Use this option to enter and name a new color in the palette. This option is only available when you have selected the Custom RGB Palettes color system.

Show palette only

Only select this option if you only want to display the selected color palette and not the whole dialog box Select RGB Color

Color Overview Box

You can select a color by clicking in the color overview box.

Slider

RGB slide controls

You can mix a color by using the RGB slide controls.
Click in the relevant box to enter the RGB values as numeric values (0-255) with the keyboard.

CSB slide controls

You can define a color by using the slide controls for color, saturation, and brightness.
Click in the box to enter the CSB values as numeric values (0-255) at the keyboard.

Whereas the RGB color model is device-oriented, the HSB color model is user-oriented.

CSB values are converted to RGB values by fixed algorithms.

Expand >> (not with filled line)

When you click Expand >> near the bottom of the Select RGB Color dialog box, you can define fills with gradients.

Match properties

Use this to adopt the color from an existing fill or filled line. The program adopts the original RGB values even when fills in drawing files open in reference mode appear in a brightened color or in the case of fills with gradients.

Match a pixel's RGB color information

Use this to adopt a color from a bitmap.

Matches the RGB color values of a pixel (or bitmap); the cursor changes to a magnifier

 

arrow keys

Moves the magnifier by 1 pixel

 

Shift +
arrow keys

Moves the magnifier in increments of eight pixels

 

+/- keys on the numeric keypad

Changes the zoom factor of the magnifier
