The services application is a program that allows you to run additional tools and programs even when it is not running.
Note: The following information is listed in the Services application output window after the start:
username, computer name, current document size, user folder, program folder, general program data folder, central file storage folder, office standard, network folder, workgroup and setting of Allplan logging.
Overview of commands:
The File menu includes data transfer and data conversion via the external path.
The Interfaces menu combines functions for managing BAMTEC and DTM files.
Here you will find important auxiliary programs, e.g. for deleting certain data.
This menu is available only for network versions with workgroup manager. Here you can configure the network and display network information.
You can use the Data Backup menu to back up and restore data.
Use this menu to tell your system which hardware it can access. "Configuring a system" means optimizing the interplay between hardware and software.
The Service menu contains tools and utilities you can use for program maintenance and to facilitate communication with Technical Support.
This menu provides information on memory usage, date, time and program version.
You can use this menu to open the Services Help topics.
