Element plan in batch run

Task area Element Plan Slab + Element Plan Wall + Element Plan

You can use this tool to create all element plans for several elements in a batch run. The same settings are used for all element plans unless you have already created manual element plans with different settings.
You can use a dialog box to define whether change notices change and to which elements the entries apply. These settings are valid for all element plans.
You can create a list of the element plans generated so that you can print them together. You can save the element plans as files in DXF, DWG, or PDF format or output them in HPGL format. In addition, you can create a BVBS file (ABS format) for each element so that you can transfer reinforcement and bending information.

To create element plans for several elements

  1. Click Element Plan in Batch Run (How).
  2. Click Properties to select a layout defined in the layout catalog for the element plans of the individual precast elements. In addition, you can choose the precast elements that you want to include in the element plans and specify how to output the data. Go to the Other settings area and choose to sort the elements by element type (for example, double wall - mark 1, double wall - mark 3, concrete wall - mark 2, concrete wall - mark 4, …) or by mark number (for example, double wall - mark 1, concrete wall - mark 2, double wall - mark 3, concrete wall - mark 4, …) in the element plans.
  3. Select all of the required elements by clicking on them, enclosing them in a selection rectangle or using the brackets
    or
right-click in the workspace twice to include all elements in the selected drawing files.

The program saves the element plans as temporary PDF files or creates files in DXF, DWG, PDF, or HPGL format. The layout elements that are actually visible depend on the settings in the selected layout.
If selected, additional BVBS files (ABS format) will be created for transferring reinforcement and bending information. When generating the BVBS file, the field for the field indicator n (number of bars / meshes / accessories) is always written whilst taking identical marks and the piece factor (with precast elements and structural precast elements) into account.

Note: The program uses the original settings for element plans that you have already created manually (except the layout elements).

  4. Use the Select list dialog box to select the formats that you want to print. This is only possible if there are element plans of varying sheet size or orientation. In addition, you must select Printer for data output and turn off the Print different formats together option.
You can turn off formats. This is useful if the printer does not detect formats automatically or if the printer is equipped with a single paper tray.
  5. Confirm the Select list dialog box.

If there are still different sheet formats, the program creates a temporary PDF file for all sheets of each format one after the other.

  6. Select one of the formats in the list box of the changed Select list dialog box and click the Print button.
The list box does not include formats you have already selected.

The temporary PDF file of the selected format opens in the program linked with the *.pdf file type.

  7. Print the element plans by using the print dialog box of the program linked with the *.pdf file type.

Note: As an element plan can consist of several pages added one after the other to the file, the number of pages in the file might be greater than the number of the selected elements.

  8. Repeat steps 6 and 7.

Note: In the case of double walls, the table lists the data of the visible and invisible sides in accordance with the settings in the layout catalog. Make sure that the positions of the two views for the unfolded leaves match the positions listed in the table.
