New algorithm from Green Code GmbH for calculation of connecting elements in iWall

In the case of the walls generated via Design (iWall) that are of the Sandwich wall type and Thermal wall , then a new algorithm for calculating the GC pins can be found under Calculation of connecting elements in Basic reinforcement,… and this algorithm was created by Green Code GmbH.

To select this new variant, go to the Basic reinforcement,… palette in the Girders, Connecting elements tab, then choose the Connecting elements option for the parameter Connection type and select the new GreenCode variant under Calculation of connecting elements .

Note: Please note that the responsibility for the calculation results and the support for the new GreenCode option is with Green Code GmbH.

When selecting the GreenCode variant, the bearing of the outer leaf should be initially set out. If Supported is selected, then just one fixture can then be set for the horizontal anchor. On the other hand, if Suspended is selected then an additional fixture can be set for the diagonal anchor.

The fixtures for the anchors should also be set at this point. In this case, the following parameters are available, as usual:

• Fixture from = Office, Project, Private, Manufacturer catalog and article catalog or from the Library
• File as well as Entry with Office, Project, Private etc. or
• Catalog, Class, Subclass as well as Article in either the Manufacturer catalog or Article catalog or
• the fixture from the Library.

With the aid of the icon for Further Parameters a full dialog box developed by the company Green Code GmbH opens, in which the corresponding settings can be specified.

The program saves all these parameters in the dialog box and the other values you enter separately for each wall element and for the wall design in its entirety. So you can use these settings if you want to modify data later.

Note: For the GC pins, do not forget to set up an entry in the Fixture catalog under Catalogs, General if you want to transfer the data for the connecting element to production. You can use the entry for the Isolink connecting element from Schöck as a basis for setting up the entry.
