Behaviour of SmartParts in Architectural Openings

Settings in Input Toolbar

The settings in the input toolbar for placing point, mirroring and turning are valid only for free placing; moving the cursor over an architectural opening the SmartPart snaps into the opening.

Polygon of the Opening

The polygon of the opening is delivered to the opening SmartPart. See also REF_POLY.

Door Swing

An opening SmartPart of the type door or window deletes the Allplan door swing. Therefore the correct door position (left, right,..) has to be set inside the SmartPart script. See also REF_PNT_A.

Note: The Allplan door swing will be deleted with every creation or observer call of the SmartPart.
