Creating a Custom User Interface

Each SmartPart has a dialog, which is automatically created, even if you do not define anything in the Dialog-Script or disable it. This dialog shows the defined parameters, for each parameter the appropriate entry field for the parameter type is created. E.g. if you create a parameter from type hatching, a pulldown menu is provided, from which the user can select a hatching. To create a dialog with several tabs you can group the parameters, each group forms a tab in the dialog.

Think of developing a custom interface if you want to

• add bitmaps
• provide tooltips
• add some sort of navigation
• add links (e.g. a link to your home page)
