Imagine you have the following 5 transformations in your transformation stack:

Examples:
RESTORE 3 ! resets the last 3 transformations (TRANSZ, MULX, ROTX)
RESTORE 2,2 ! resets 2 transformations, starting with the second transformation and proceeding forward (TRANSY 2 and ROTX 90)
RESTORE -2,4 ! resets 2 transformations, starting with the fourth transformation and proceeding backward (MULX 2 and ROTX 90)
RESTORE 2,NTR()-4 ! resets 2 transformations, starting with the second transformation (5 - 4) and proceeding forward (TRANSY 2 and ROTX 90)
