Extension lines in the element plan

Under Catalogs, General within the Layout catalog for the View - parallel projection and the section on the Dimension lines tab now has new settings for the display and creation of extension lines.

For the display in the Dimension line parameters group under Extension line attributes new settings are available for Pen thickness, Line type and Color of the extension lines to be created.

In addition, within the More settings group in the corresponding More settings dialog, the two columns Extension line and Length have been added.

To start with, you must set out in the Extension line column, if for the set dimension groups these were not generated (= none), were generated with a distance to the reference point or generated with a predefined length at this point. After this, set the desired length of the extension line.

• If this is none then the Length input field is grayed out and an input is not possible.
• In the case of with a distance to the reference point the extension lines are shown up to a certain distance from the dimensioned point (reference point); the distance is set out in the enabled Length field.
• When selecting the Predefined length option, all extension lines are labeled with the fixed length specified in Length in the direction of the dimensioned points.

Note: Note that the settings for Fix color and the color set for the dimension line index under Dimension groups, ... In the upper left window General dialogs for the element plan take priority over the settings made here. The dimension lines and extension lines are then, if necessary, created with different colors!
