Extension for minimum bar length of 0° bars in the MWS algorithm

For 0° bars, you can now also check the minimum length of the last bar from the 1st intersection point using the 90° bars.

To do so, select Configurations, General, attached reinforcement, Grid – bars, on the 0° bars 2 tab, find the new check box for Min. length of last bar as 1st intersection point and set the tolerance as desired.

This new option is, just like the + current overlap at front option, as well as when setting the min. length (straight bar, general case) as well as when activating the Custom min. length for the last bar in vanishing line option.

Note: The new options are always based on the creation of assembly bars! This is why the check is stopped if, in Configurations, General, attached reinforcement, assembly bars on the General tab for Create assembly bars another option is set as 0° and 90° at that point. The bars are then only checked in accordance with the normal rules for minimum length, lengthened if necessary, then a message is issued.

The additional bar extension is only evaluated for the on one side and on both sides under extend bars to min. length . In both cases, the last bars are extended in the direction of the interior of the element! If no or no – loose bars are selected then the new option is not taken into account.

In addition, the min. length of last bar as 1st intersection point is generally only evaluated if use of the grid is deactivated for the 90° bars. If selecting the Use Grid option on the 90° bars 1 tab then the calculation is not performed and a message is issued!

Note: With the minimum length of a bar, the different options for the minimum length - depending on the installation section (general case, last bar in the vanishing line, last bar as 1st intersection point) for the bar in question, it is checked on the 0° bars 2 tab. In the calculation, the minimum overlap min. front is always set for the 0° rods from the diameter catalog , as it is always the last rod to be installed. If necessary, it is differentiated between a bent bar or a straight bar as different entries are possible in the diameter catalog here.

When calculating the bars which may be extended, it is carried out as follows:
