Catalogs for precast concrete elements
"General" tab
Created on:
Date of creation of data record.
Last modification:
Most recent modification date.
Name:
User-defined name for the concrete grade.
Specific weight of reinforced concrete / concrete: [kN/m3]
This is required for calculating element weights.
E-modulus: [N/mm2]
This is included in reports and lists.
The average E-modulus Ecm for EC2 and DIN EN 1992-1-1:2011-01 must be entered here.
Color:
User-defined name for the concrete color. This is transferred to a control system (production) that processes it in various ways (for example, no different concrete colors on a pallet).
Thickness
Minimum thickness in the area of concrete strips: [mm]
If the thickness of a concrete layer is less than the minimum thickness specified (for example, due to a concrete strip of the opposite concrete layer), the program does not create the concrete layer in this area.
"Design" tab
Strength
fck,cube / fcwk: [N/mm2]
This is required for structural calculations. You must enter this value.
The cube strength fck, cube for EC2 and DIN EN 1992-1-1:2011-01 must be entered here.
fck: [N/mm2]
Enter the cylinder strength fck for the selected concrete grade.
fctm: [N/mm2]
Enter the mean value of the axial tensile strength fctm for the selected concrete grade.
fctk;0,05: [N/mm2]
Enter the value of the quintile of the axial tensile strength fctk;0.05 for the selected concrete grade. This value is required for calculations of shear force and bond in compliance with DIN EN 1992-1-1:2011-01.
Analyses of shear force and bond: [N/mm2]
vRdi,max: maximum shear force in the joint. This value is required for calculations in compliance with DIN EN 1992-1-1:2011-01.
Compressive strain: [%]
Material characteristic for the selected concrete grade.
Enter the ultimate strain εcu for EC2 or DIN EN 1992-1-1:2011-01.
"Production" tab
The program considers the following settings when creating production data.
Concrete spreader
Apparent specific gravity of fresh concrete: [kN/m3]
This value will be transferred as apparent specific gravity. If the value is 0, the program uses the specific weight on the General tab.
Correction of concrete quantity: [%]
The program takes the panel thickness from the geometry of the panel and transfers the result of panel thickness * ( 1 - correction of concrete quantity [%] / 100) as the panel thickness. The reduced panel thickness has no effect on other parameters (for example, panel weight, ...).
Fixtures for production and lists
Surface fixtures for concrete areas:
You can assign a surface fixture from the fixture catalog to the concrete grade. You must make this assignment if you want to transfer concrete areas of this concrete grade to production or include these concrete areas in lists. Select a fixture in the list box.
Material number:
The external list generator can analyze material numbers as article numbers (for commercial interfaces).
Extra charge when invoiced:
Select this check box to invoice the current concrete grade with an extra charge in the lists (for example, measurement sheet, ADS interface KSTP, and so on).
Valid for:
Choose the areas (Slab, Wall, and Structural PE) to which the extra charges apply.
Note: The Structural PE options means
structural precast elements and
precast elements along with the basic type = Structural precast element.
Match code for article catalog:
Define the match code for the article catalog. The list generator uses this match code to assign an article to the current concrete grade.
Surcharges (match codes)
If you want to separately invoice additional surcharges, you can enter the match codes in a list.
For example, when you enter the ABetWU match code, the list generator automatically generates an article number for this match code. As an alternative, you can also create new matching entries in the article catalog.
"Display" tab
Line representation
At this point you initially specify how it should be displayed in Allplan. The following options are available in the selection dialog box:
As defined in general settings: Uses the settings in the Properties palette - Format area.
Settings from donor component: Uses the settings of the component itself.
Custom definition: The settings set out here in
Pen,
Line and
Color as well as
Layer are used for the display.
With Pen, Line and Color as well as Layer you define the settings with which the to display the borders of concrete areas in accordance with the concrete grade or the layer on which the component/layer is shown. In addition, the program uses this color in animation and in Bimplus. A layer of in-situ concrete (air space) is transparent.
Clicking the button for the Layer opens the Select Layer dialog. Precisely one layer can be selected at this point. After confirmation of the dialog with OK the short name of the chosen layer is shown on the icon for the layer at that point.
When searching for a layer, the Select layer dialog contains the
Find catalog entry icon. When in the dialog box Find catalog entry define the entry to be searched for using the search for field, then if required, select the exact search option if it is necessary to distinguish between lower and upper-case letters. Upon confirming the dialog, the defined search text is searched for from the marked row. In this case, the Full name column is searched first. If no entry is found here then the Short name column is searched, and if the desired entry is not found there, then the LayerNr. Column is searched as well.
If an appropriate entry is found then the corresponding row is highlighted. If the desired entry was not found, then select
Find catalog entry once again. The last search text is still entered and you can confirm the dialog immediately. The next entry is highlighted. If no suitable entry is found in the three columns that are being searched, then the selection remains unchanged.
Section display
Choose to apply
Hatching, a
Pattern, or a
Fill to the concrete of the specified concrete grade in sections.
To select a surface element, select its check box, click in the box, and select the required type. To turn a surface element off, clear its check box. If all check boxes are cleared, the program does not display surface elements.
Note: You can select a Hatching style or a Pattern in addition to a Fill. In this case, the fill is the background color.
"->Standard" tab
Assignment of entries to standards.
The selected entry applies only to the selected standards. If no field is selected, the entry applies to all fields.
